Plus, if you own a home, then it's yours—you don't have to worry about renting or paying rent (which can go up). And with a mortgage payment, your monthly bills are lower because they include the interest too!

In your 20s, there are many ways to grow your income. For example, if you want to own a home and build equity, you could take on a side hustle or a second job to help cover the cost of a down payment.

 

Another option? Consider starting a side hustle or finding a second job while you're still working full time at your 9-5 job. You can also use some of that money as part of your down payment on a home.

 

And even once you have the house, don't stop there: continue earning more by starting another business! After all, if you're not growing… you're dying!

1. Look for realtors who are responsive: Responsiveness is essential for all parties involved in the transaction!

2. You need someone who will answer your questions and respond to your calls when you need them. A good realtor can help guide you through the process of buying or selling a home with confidence. 

3. You should also look for someone who is trustworthy and honest. If there are problems along the way, make sure that your realtor can follow up with everyone involved and handhold you through any issues that arise.

4. In this market especially, it's important to find a realtor who can understand mortgage options and guide you through them—you don't want to pay more than necessary on financing because no one wants their home purchase to go out of their budget!

 

The biggest mistake in real estate!

I just wanted to give you a quick tip about what I think is the biggest mistake people make when they're looking to buy a home.

You know how when you're looking for a realtor, you always hear about "discounted" or "low-cost" real estate agents? They're everywhere! The problem is that these agents aren't really actually cheaper—they just cost less upfront. What ends up happening is that these agents try to get you into homes that aren't right for your needs, and they don't want to work with you over the long term.

So what's the alternative? Well, it's simple: pick an agent who actually has your best interest at heart, who can help you find the right home for your needs and create long-term relationships with clients through trust and transparency. In other words: don't finalize your realtor until 2023! Do your research and then come to me!

Recently, a home at 4148 Pepper Tree Lane in San Jose was listed for $1.57M and sold for $1.76M in less than a week! The homeowner had purchased the property for $600 K in Jan 2021 and completely renovated it by adding an additional 1000 sq. ft.

This is just one example of how there is still demand for good homes and good construction. There is a shortage of good homes in this area because builders are building so many bad ones, or they just have no space to build.
